Just wanted to share a couple pictures from our Halloween. We were able to take Wyatt to the pumpkin patch this year and actually carve some pumpkins too! We learned the hard way here in Hawaii not to carve too early, we carved ours on Wednesday night and by Friday they were already rotted out and full of bugs, YUCK! All that hard work and rotten by Halloween night, oh well. So this year Wyatt went as "Max" from the book "Where the Wild Things Are" It's his favorite book right now so he was very excited to be MAX and have a wolf tail. He had a blast wearing his costume. We took him to a few friends to trick or treat and then we came back here to hand out candy, which he helped of course. And then he got to go to our neighbor's and play on their real life Thomas train which made his night complete!! Hope everyone else had a fun and safe Halloween night!!

Daddy's Home!
After a long 7 month deployment Kelly is finally back home in Hawaii with us. Wyatt was so excited to see his daddy, didn't take but two seconds for him to be attached to his hip. Seeing the two of them together is just amazing. We've been hanging out at home mostly spending some quality family time together. We did get a chance to go fly Wyatt's kite the other day, he just loved it. Mostly when it was on the ground because then he could grab it, he's so funny! So here are some pics from the homecoming and kite flying the other day. Enjoy!!

No Doubt!
So last night my friend Katie and I went to see No Doubt and they rocked the house, as always! We got a sitter and hit the town, just two "young moms" out on the town for a night, it was awesome!! And I must say Gwen's energy is amazing, can I have some?? I'll take her abs too but that would require me to work out, hmmm. Anyways here are some pictures from the nose-bleeds, not bad huh?

Playtime!
So Wyatt and I are finally starting to feel better! He finally got to go outside and play yesterday and boy did he need to. The poor kid has been cooped up in the house for a week straight. We had a pretty nasty cold/flu (no not the swine, I had him tested) and are now finally feeling back to normal. So thanks to everyone for checking in on us and running errands for me (aka commissary run) we really appreciate it! We talked to Kel this morning and he is doing well, here's a little pic of Wyatt talking to daddy, he gets so excited!! Not to sure why the pic is blurry, guess I'll have to check the setting on the camera. The pic above is Wyatt a couple weeks ago with a fat lip. The poor guy fell not once but twice in two days landing each fall on that poor little lip of his. He didn't seem to mind though.

Splash Time!
Here are a few cute pics from today, we have a little Elmo splash mat for outside and we finally set it up for the first time. Wyatt wasn't too sure at first but he got into it after awhile. Then we let the dogs out to enjoy a little splash time too, i think Chance (our friend's dog) really enjoyed himself.......he loves the water. Wyatt got a kick out of Chance, it was pretty cute. There's a video of it that I'll put on here too. I'm also putting on a little clip of Wyatt sliding into the water, he is such a little dare devil, YIKES!! Enjoy!

My projects!
Just wanted to show off some of the hard work I have been doing around here lately. A friend of mine came over one afternoon and we completely gutted my backyard, we removed all the shrubs and plants and we also trimmed the tree ourselves. This is a pic of all the rubbish! Amazing huh? And secondly I have been hunting around this island for a TV media stand for almost 2 years now, I basically had given up and then I found an old dresser on someones curb one night while out walking. I saw potential immediately but did not see the hard work!!! But I am happy to say and show you all that after hours of hard work and my friend Katie's help we completed it and I absolutely love it!! I was nervous half way through that it would not turn out the way I planned but thanks to Katie's encouragement I kept working on it and I couldn't be happier, this is exactly what I had wanted all along. So here is a before pic and an after. Pretty neat huh? And the best part is I did it!!!
HAPPY EASTER!
So I know, it's been a long time since I've updated our blog! Sorry guys, we have been really busy lately. So far today, Wyatt and I got to hunt around the house for Wyatt's Easter Basket, which was pretty easy for him to find since the "Bunny" left it on the coffee table, HA! And then we went off to church and enjoyed some Easter brunch before the service. We are now home for the day, Wyatt is napping, and I am getting ready for all the neighbors to come over later for a potluck dinner. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter Sunday.
