Halloween 2011

So fast forward 2 years and one more child!! I'm finally updating the blog!! We are very excited about Halloween this year being here in VA, we actually get to wear warm costumes~so Wyatt is going as The Dragon and we (the parents) are going as The Vikings and our little Grace is our little Dragon Fruit. We are enjoying the fall weather by playing in the leaves and making s'mores on the back deck. We took the kids to the local Pumpkin Patch for a fun filled day of "jumping, watching a pig race, zip line rides, cannon blasting, rocket making and super fast slides" lets just say Wyatt was finally wiped out. That's about all we've been up to for the past 2 years, HA! Just kidding, I am going to try to keep this updated from now and I will be posting some pics to try to fill in the last year or so.

Halloween 2009

Just wanted to share a couple pictures from our Halloween. We were able to take Wyatt to the pumpkin patch this year and actually carve some pumpkins too! We learned the hard way here in Hawaii not to carve too early, we carved ours on Wednesday night and by Friday they were already rotted out and full of bugs, YUCK! All that hard work and rotten by Halloween night, oh well. So this year Wyatt went as "Max" from the book "Where the Wild Things Are" It's his favorite book right now so he was very excited to be MAX and have a wolf tail. He had a blast wearing his costume. We took him to a few friends to trick or treat and then we came back here to hand out candy, which he helped of course. And then he got to go to our neighbor's and play on their real life Thomas train which made his night complete!! Hope everyone else had a fun and safe Halloween night!!

Daddy's Home!

After a long 7 month deployment Kelly is finally back home in Hawaii with us. Wyatt was so excited to see his daddy, didn't take but two seconds for him to be attached to his hip. Seeing the two of them together is just amazing. We've been hanging out at home mostly spending some quality family time together. We did get a chance to go fly Wyatt's kite the other day, he just loved it. Mostly when it was on the ground because then he could grab it, he's so funny! So here are some pics from the homecoming and kite flying the other day. Enjoy!!

No Doubt!

So last night my friend Katie and I went to see No Doubt and they rocked the house, as always! We got a sitter and hit the town, just two "young moms" out on the town for a night, it was awesome!! And I must say Gwen's energy is amazing, can I have some?? I'll take her abs too but that would require me to work out, hmmm. Anyways here are some pictures from the nose-bleeds, not bad huh?

Playtime!

So Wyatt and I are finally starting to feel better! He finally got to go outside and play yesterday and boy did he need to. The poor kid has been cooped up in the house for a week straight. We had a pretty nasty cold/flu (no not the swine, I had him tested) and are now finally feeling back to normal. So thanks to everyone for checking in on us and running errands for me (aka commissary run) we really appreciate it! We talked to Kel this morning and he is doing well, here's a little pic of Wyatt talking to daddy, he gets so excited!! Not to sure why the pic is blurry, guess I'll have to check the setting on the camera. The pic above is Wyatt a couple weeks ago with a fat lip. The poor guy fell not once but twice in two days landing each fall on that poor little lip of his. He didn't seem to mind though.
